“The best part is it all starts
with you, and knowing you can”
How it works.
A 45-minute in person presentation to students, and teachers (and even parents)
I delve into my story of moving through acute stress and anxiety, before building a career in public speaking.
At each stage, I relate my story to that of the student. This is fundamental to the presentation.
Students are encouraged to jot down thoughts and ideas on paper, these notes will support the follow-up session with their teachers.
My story delves into:
-Realising I have anxiety
-Stepping in to challenge and opportunity
-Being “brave and bold” in the moment
-Reflecting on ‘why’ you do anything
-Understanding and celebrating progress
-Self care, thoughts and habits
Below I’ve used Mckinsey’s 3-step Pyramid Principle.
It’s a visual break down of my key recommendation, student outcomes, supporting arguments and ideas.
